Exploring
Ko Lanta
Each of Ko Lanta's
areas has it's own distinct character -- many people
say it's like six different islands in one.Rent
a jeep, some small motorbikes or take a tour, but
make sure you explore the island.
Koh Lanta Canoeing offers
a daily self-paddle trip by canoe through
the exciting world of the mangrove forest. This
unusual biosphere is limited to the tropics and
exists as a nursery or permanent living area for
numerous animals and therefore is of important ecological
significance.
The
Mai Kaeo Caves
located in the hills overlooking Klong Nin village.
Only recently discovered after a fire in the forest,
these treasures are home to some spectacular stalactites
and stalagmites. When the sunlight hits the caves,
the places shines like a diamond!

Then you should defiantly tryout the newest attraction
on Koh Lanta The Minigolf course with its 18 holes
is designed so the whole family can have a lot of

by boat to Ko Rok, often compared to the Red Sea

takes you to the Emerald Cave, thought by many to
be the inspiration for 'The Beach'.
